- Install Homeseer and any plug-ins
- Define all your devices and events
- If you have an IR plug-in, learn and name your IR Commands
- Install HSDroid on your phone or tablet
- Start up HSDroid and the first time you'll see a welcome screen.
Click OK which will take you to the preferences menu.
- Go to the Homeseer Server preferences
- Set up the address to your homeseer server (either the IP address or the DNS name)
and the logon name and password to use with Homeseer.
- If Homeseer does not use the default port for the webserver, specify it here
- You can also set the timeout used when contacting the Homeseer
server. If the server does not reply in this time, HSDroid will attempt contacting the server twice
more before it gives up and reports the failure.
