If you have a Homeseer Music plug-in (for example the iTunes or Windows Media Player plug-ins) HSDroid
will give you tremendous control over your music collection.
You can list your collection by artist (and start the list at a particular letter). Pressing an artist
will bring up a list of all their albums you have. Pressing one of these albums one of these albums will
bring up all the tracks you have from that album. Tapping a track will play just that track (and take
you to the screen that lets you control the player).
If you tap an artist, it will play all the music by that artist. If you tap on an album,
it will play all the tracks on that album.
You can also display artists by genre, or display a list of all the playlists you have.
You can also search by artist/album/track. The search looks for the string anywhere in the entry. For
example searching for artist John would show both Elton John and John Denver. To search for a particular
track, you must specify either artist or album along with the track name.
Once Homeseer is playing a track, you can go to the Current Track display (you are taken there
automatically when you start playing something). On this display, you will get a countdown of how much
longer the track has to play, plus the information on the Artist/Album/Track and controls to let you
skip to the next/previous track, pause/stop/resume the track, increase/decrease the volume or mute it
altogether.
